Simple newborn portraits are my absolute favourite, I love capturing little ones in neutral colours and simple surroundings. I don’t think the age of the photos should make a difference to the overall portrait. I want them to be timeless and classic and simply showing your little one as they are.

Newborns come in all shapes and sizes and I don’t think they should be dressed up in a way that takes away from their beautiful tiny form.

My newborn shoots ideally need to be taken within the first 7-14 days of baby being born, they can be taken outside of this time frame but the results of the curled up shots cannot be guaranteed.

Shoots can be taken at my studio in the Forest of Dean or within your own home as a lifestyle type of photoshoot.

I am always willing to answer any questions, a lot of clients book in after their 12 week scan and some others panic call me when baby is a week old. I will try to fit in anyone where I can!

New parents can be really nervous about a shoot but they soon relax in the comfort of my cozy little studio, there is no right or wrong way for a baby to behave!! They simply do what babies do and we just roll with it, if it takes a while for baby to get to sleep that is absolutely fine, that is one of the main reasons the shoot lasts 2-3 hours. You can simply snuggle down with a cup of tea whilst I soothe and swaddle baby, I use white noise, and the studio is made really warm to make sure they are snug!

There are no silly questions in the build up to a shoot, so ask away!!

My current package is for a sitting fee only at £49 then digital files are £10 each. I find this gives everyone the best flexibility and then you can simply decide which shots have captured your hearts when you view the online gallery. I provide high resolution digital files, you can then print them out as many times as you like!
