Planning an outdoor family photoshoot

REAL STYLE IS NEVER RIGHT OR WRONG. IT’S A MATTER OF BEING YOURSELF ON PURPOSE

- G.BRUCE BOYER

Everyone worries about what to wear during a family photoshoot session, as it can be such an important part of your experience and final photos.

Preparation is key, not only to make sure you’re happy with the choices but also to make the day of your photoshoot stress-free!

Getting out of the house with young children can be stressful at the best of times, even more so when you want everyone to look great in what they’re wearing and feel relaxed and happy to enjoy the lovely family time you have chosen to get captured.

Once you have gotten booked in, I send out lots of helpful advice on how the shoot works as well as specific styling hints and tips. Plus I also have a Mummy and baby wardrobe that’s available for studio and outdoor sessions. This wardrobe is ever changing so if you’re interested in an item, just let me know and I can give you all the information on what’s available and will work well for the type of session you have booked.

If you want to purchase new items, they still don’t have to break the bank, supermarkets and high street shops are great value. Plus you’re generally sorted if you have a social event coming up too!!

Your outfits don’t have to be strictly co-ordinated, the family can look in sync with a style more than a strict colour palette!

As always get in touch and ask all those questions, I’m always more than happy to help!!
