Hi, I’m Charlie!

As a Mummy of 4 - two humans (Aster 6 & Clement 4) and two fur babies (Tinks (8yo) Patsy (2yo) energetic labradors) - I understand that everyday life gets in the way of capturing beautiful portraits of the whole family.

So that's where I come in! 

With a BA (Hons) Fine Art Photography Degree from The Arts Institute at Bournemouth – and over 15 years as a Professional Photographer – it’s always been a passion. And since becoming a mum, I am even more in love with capturing families and children. 

NOT perfect, posed, fussy images - but beautiful, relaxed shots that remember all the love that envelopes every moment as a family (even the chaotic ones!)

I know you might be nervous as the thought of booking a shoot. Especially if you’re a new mum-to-be or just not sure what to expect! 

One thing I know is that you’ll NEVER regret having these pictures taken.

When everyone is having fun & enjoying themselves as family, it shines through in your photos to capture that lovely moment. This is at the very heart of every picture I create. 

I’m here to make you feel totally at ease (even when the kids have a meltdown – I have many tricks up my sleeve to win them over!). My studio in the Forest of Dean is a cosy home-from-home because when you relax, the children do too.

    Anyone with a toddler knows they can be little rascals at times, Charlie bares this in mind and made sure there were lots of snacks and toys on standby if needed which was a lovely touch (our 3 year old, Alfie, loved this) - He was immediately drawn to Charlie and felt so comfortable to climb on and cuddle up to her!   • “I first met Charlie when I was 32 weeks pregnant for my pregnancy shoot. I was very nervous and didn’t know what to expect but Charlie made me feel so at ease and comfortable!

    Then we saw Charlie again for my daughter’s newborn photos and at the time 2 weeks into being a new parent Charlie was waiting for us with coffees ready and a lovely wardrobe so I didn’t even have to think about what to wear on the day. She was also amazing with our daughter - I remember calling her the baby whisperer and wanted to take her home with us because our daughter did her best napping during this shoot.

    We then did our first family Christmas photos with Charlie where we brought our dog as well - turns out Charlie is not only amazing with babies but also with dogs.

    Now more recently Charlie has done our daughter’s first year milestone photos where we also did a cake smash and she was once again - absolutely incredible! We feel so lucky to have found Charlie to capture and be a part of these precious moments for our family.
