Breastfeeding Portraits

Milestone sessions can take on any topic and I love the way this can be unique to each individual family.

This amazing mama visited me wanting to capture her beautiful family, as well as mark her breastfeeding journey hitting 6 months. After a busy beginning part of the session with the whole family, we asked Daddy to take the older boys out to explore, so the youngest could settle down for a peaceful feed.

Breastfeeding can be such a journey for mamas and can vary so much from child to child, each taking on feeding in their own personal way. Capturing this special connection is such a wonderful part of my job as a parenthood photographer and I love the images that we’ve been able to create.

This is such an intimate part of your life to capture so the session is totally private and can be as exposed or covered as you’d like. To finish off the session we set up a milk bath for this super cute boy and he absolutely loved it!!!
