Autumn Newborn Shoot Outdoors

Autumn portraits outdoors are one of my favourites to capture, when you’re lucky enough to get the light just right they are absolutely magical. 

The children are drawn to the leaves and the textures they find all around, so much curiosity can be captured during an outdoor session. 

I plan my shoots well in advance but sometimes the weather has other ideas. For this shoot we so wanted to be able to capture this with a beautiful newborn and big sister but had to work around a very horrendously wet morning and I’m so pleased with the results. 

Big sister couldn’t of been happier, plus with the addition of a mini hot water bottle  she was more than happy to stop and get comfy in the woods. 

Using a variety of lenses and vantage points a beautiful mix of portraits have been captured and the shoot is one of my favourite this season. Here’s to more gorgeous light, colour and texture. I think I should be able to get a few more in before all the leaves fall!!
